Blumberg Golf Course — Rules, Regulations & Information
Welcome to Blumberg Golf Course, a 27-hole facility committed to providing a safe, respectful, and enjoyable golfing experience for all players. Please review the following rules and policies before your round.
2025 UPDATED POLICY – PLEASE READ:
- GOLF CARTS are available on a first-come, first-served basis. They cannot be reserved.
- Effective 2025: NO Spectators or Ride-Alongs Permitted
All individuals entering the course must pay a green fee and have their own set of clubs. No exceptions.
Children aged 3 and under are not permitted on the course under any circumstances for safety and liability reasons.
Children aged 4–17 are required to pay a junior green fee and must have their own set of clubs if they wish to go on the course.
Junior green fees are not available on weekends until after 2:00 PM.
General Play & Etiquette
- All golfers must check in at the golf shop and obtain a receipt. This must be presented to a starter or marshal upon request.
- During busy times, players may be grouped into foursomes. Groups must stay together for the full round.
- Each player must have their own set of clubs and golf bag. Sharing is not permitted. Rentals are available in the golf shop.
- Only one ball may be played at a time. Skipping holes or playing out of sequence is not allowed.
- Glow balls or illuminated golf balls are prohibited.
- No play is allowed after dusk. Players must return to the clubhouse once it becomes dark.
- Maintain pace of play: an 18-hole round should not exceed 4 hours and 15 minutes.
- Be ready when it’s your turn, limit practice swings, and read putts while others are putting.
Alcohol Policy
- All Liquor, Gaming, and Cannabis Authority regulations apply.
- Only alcohol purchased from Blumberg Golf Course is allowed on-site. Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited and may be confiscated. Violators may be removed from the premises.
- A beverage cart may operate daily (weather permitting). Please ask the golf shop at check-in for daily availability.
Age-Based Green Fee Rates
- Juniors (Ages 4–17): Junior green fees are available anytime, except weekends before 2:00 PM.
- Seniors (Ages 55+): Senior green fees are available anytime, except weekends before 2:00 PM.
- Children 3 and under are not permitted on the golf course under any circumstances.
- Players must identify themselves at check-in to receive the correct rate.
Twilight Play
- Twilight rates begin 3½ hours before sunset. Please contact the golf shop for daily start times.
Children & Spectator Policy – Updated for 2025
- No spectators or ride-alongs are permitted on the course.
- All individuals on the course must pay a green fee and have their own set of clubs. Rentals are available in the golf shop.
- Children age 3 and under are strictly prohibited from entering the course due to liability and safety concerns.
- Children aged 4–17 must pay a junior green fee and have their own set of clubs.
- No strollers, car seats, or baby carriers are allowed on the course.
- Children may use the driving range at their own risk, but must be supervised at all times.
Golf Cart Rules
- Golf carts are first-come, first-served and cannot be reserved.
- Tee time bookings are accepted up to one week in advance.
- Only two people per cart, including juniors.
- Drivers must be at least 18 years old.
- Private/outside carts are not allowed due to liability issues.
- Golf carts may not enter the parking lot for safety reasons. Please call ahead if you need transport assistance.
- Cart use may be restricted during wet or inclement weather.
Dress Code
- Proper golf attire is required: a shirt, suitable shorts or pants, and comfortable footwear.
- Denim is allowed as long as it’s in good condition (no rips or tears).
- Tank tops and offensive clothing are not allowed.
- Staff may ask players to change if attire is deemed inappropriate.
Hole-in-One Policy
- Report your hole-in-one to the golf shop immediately after your round.
- A witness is required for validation.
- A commemorative certificate will be emailed to you upon verification.
Lightning & Weather Policy
- Seek shelter immediately if lightning is in the area.
- Remaining on the course during storms is at your own risk.
- Blumberg Golf Course is not responsible for removing players during inclement weather. Player safety is your responsibility.
Prohibited Conduct
Blumberg Golf Course reserves the right to remove or refuse service to any player for the following:
- Disrespect toward staff or other players
- Possession or consumption of outside alcohol
- Unsafe behavior or damage to the course
- Excessively slow play or ignoring pace-of-play standards
- Intentionally hitting balls into restricted areas or over fences
Legal & Liability Notice
- Use of the course and all facilities, including the parking lot, is at your own risk.
- Blumberg Golf Course is not responsible for personal injury or loss/damage to personal property.
